Main highlights in past 24 hours.
- One additional confirmed case in the EU, in Spain, totalling four confirmed cases (2 in Spain and 2 in the
UK); - In Europe, all investigated cases have a mild course, no deaths reported;
- Fourteen Member States (MS) have reported persons under investigation for this novel influenza virus;
- More cases to be expected in the EU as diagnostic capacity is being strengthened;
- European case definition and travel advice agreed upon with MS and Commission;
- Outside Europe, confirmed cases reported in Costa Rica, Israel and New Zealand, in addition to USA,
Canada and Mexico;
